Kingston recently completed a new 2 storey office building for NRA Roofing & Flooring Services Ltd. We were especially pleased to be involved with this project as this has become their new head office, located in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. The building is around 580m² in area, in which Kingston have undertaken the external SFS works and the internal partitioning and ceiling packages.

This project was different compared to other projects we have done in the past, as NRA was both the client and contractor. However, it meant that we were able to work collaboratively throughout the project including the estimating stage. This ensured that the build is exactly what they wanted and to suit the purpose it is intended it for. They outlined that they wanted to convert the land into an office space. From that, we provided a clear direction of what could be achieved and advised the client on the best way to do so. It was agreed upon the specification that it would achieve both the fire and acoustic ratings with SoundBloc and FireLine board used predominately throughout.

NRA is a new client therefore this was our first time working with them. Throughout the project we developed a great working relationship and had minimal issues on site, and when we did encounter an issue we were able to solve it almost instantly. Kingston are delighted with the end result and we look forward to working with them in the future.
