The Sutherland Architecture & Build Environment (ABE) project is part of Northumbria University, Newcastle. We undertook the SFS and Cement Particle Boarding on the exterior of the building. A key challenge of this project was that we were fitting the extension to an existing Victorian building. To overcome this, we fitted a timber box to the external to protect from any potential damage and also minimise noise pollution.
